To volunteer at school events you will need to also sign up through the district for safety reasons.
How to get involved...
Here are a few things you can do to
get involved and help our school!
MEETINGS: Attend meetings and share your ideas. See the Meetings page for details.
VOLUNTEER: In your child's classroom.
BOOK FAIR: A weeklong event selling Scholastic books. The funds raised give teachers $100 to spend on books for their classrooms and help purchase a free book for every student at the annual BOOK GIVEAWAY.
ASSEMBLIES: Research and organize whole school assemblies like OMSI & The Jefferson Dancers.
WALK/BIKE TO SCHOOL: One day in Oct. and the WHOLE month of May. Fun events that encourage kids and families to walk and bike to school.
FAMILY NIGHTS (clay, movie, swim & more): These community events are scattered throughout the year.
SKATE NIGHTS & SKATE PARTIES: Friday or Saturday. This is a great event and the kids love being able to hang with friends and roller skate!!
ART AUCTION: One of our two major fundraisers for the year. Proceeds from this auction event fund the Westside art program, arts related activities, and more.
WILDCAT CHASE: A fun-run fundraiser and school-wide celebration. Monies raised help fund teacher grants, supplies, teacher/staff appreciation, and more!!
TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION: This is where we work to let our teachers and staff know that we love and appreciate them!
